Dairy Boy is a fast-growing direct-to-consumer lifestyle brand built around a new vision of American style — blending nostalgia, sport, and everyday life with a point of view that feels fresh, intentional, and distinctly its own. This summer we opened our first permanent retail location on Nantucket, and we're still building the team that keeps it running behind the scenes.
We're looking for a reliable, organized Stock Associate to keep the store running smoothly. You'll receive and organize our weekly shipment, maintain an efficient stockroom system, and support the sales floor team on the busiest days.
The right person is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and takes real pride in a well-run stockroom. They understand that a great in-store experience starts in the back of house — a tidy, organized stockroom is what keeps the floor stocked and guest-ready. They're quick on their feet, ready to take initiative, and reliable when it counts.
This is our first permanent store, and the team we hire will help define how Dairy Boy retail runs going forward. You'll play a real role in keeping the store guest-ready, and be part of one of the most exciting summers on the island.
What you'll do
- Receive, unpack, and process the weekly shipment in a timely manner
- Lift and move heavy boxes (up to 30 lbs) safely and efficiently
- Organize incoming inventory to the existing stockroom system, and spot ways to improve flow and accessibility
- Maintain accurate stock levels and flag low or missing inventory
- Replenish the sales floor from the stockroom throughout each shift
- Act as a runner on busy days, moving product quickly between the floor and stockroom as needed
- Break down and discard boxes, and keep the stockroom clean and organized
- Collaborate with the team to keep the store well-stocked and guest-ready
What we're looking for
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stay on your feet for extended periods
- Weekend and holiday availability — these are our highest-traffic days
- A flexible schedule, with availability to receive weekly shipments
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, with the initiative to work independently
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to an existing inventory system
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Previous retail or stock experience is a plus, but not required
Details
Starting pay: $20/hr. Part-time hours with scheduling flexibility based on shipment days and store needs. Based on Nantucket — applicants must arrange their own housing.
